Taekwondo has helped define the
character of so many amazing individuals through brotherhood,
determination, sacrifice and personal commitment. The
United States Taekwondo Committee is here to promote the ideas
of harmony within the Taekwondo family and appreciates the
changes and growth to which you, as members will be contributing.
The World Taekwondo Federation is
the International Federation [IF] governing the sport of Taekwondo
and
is a member of the Association of Summer Olympic International
Federations [ASOIF].
Kukkiwon enhances the prestige of
Korea and develops national culture by providing a pan national
campaign with Taekwondo as martial arts native to Korea and
by stirring up cheerful temperament and developing physical
strength of a nation. And it also propagates traditional spirit
and skill to the world.
The Hawkeye Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Club was founded in July 2005 at the University of Iowa and
has quickly become one of the most popular sports clubs on
campus. Our goal is to pursue the ideals of personal development
and group camaraderie, by dedicating ourselves to training
in the most effective style of self-defense, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
The S.I.B.B.A. is dedicated to
the improvement of martial arts and their member practitioners.
The S.I.B.B.A. is an educational and professional organization
that offers products, seminars, donations, sponsorships, and
scholarships to its members throughout the year.
