Why Jiu-Jitsu?
Unlike most other martial
arts, a distinct advantage of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is that it allows
the participants to train together safely, in real time. This
provides a much more realistic and practical self-defense exercise,
which develops a great sense of trust among participants. The
training atmosphere is therefore very friendly and strong relationships
develop among members.
Above all, BJJ is a practical
form of self-defense, which allows you successfully to defend
yourself against a much larger or stronger opponent. By using
an attacker's size, strength, and momentum to your advantage,
aggression can be overcome. Because the techniques do not require
strength or size to execute Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is successfully
practiced by men, women, and children alike.
Benefits of Jiu-Jitsu:
The benefits of training
in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu are vast and profound. In addition to improving
flexibility, strength, coordination, and reaction time, jiu-jitsu

the 'indomitable spirit'.
